If you are unsure of your shoe size, measure your feet to find your size. Please also keep in mind that each men's shoe brand fits differently and therefore your size may be different by brand and even be different by style within the same brand. Please refer to the fit guide and reviews on products for additional information.
Please follow the directions below and take a look at the men's shoe size chart:
- Wearing a sock of medium thickness, stand on a piece of paper.
- Place a mark at the end of your heel and at the tip of your longest toe.
- Mark the sides of your foot at the widest part.
- Measure both feet and use the larger of the two
- To find your size, use these measurements and refer to the sizing chart below.
- If your measurements are between two sizes, or you find one foot's measurement is larger than the other, always move up to the larger size.
It is also helpful to know the width of your foot, widths are expressed in many ways for men's shoes. Below is a shoe width measurement chart that will help you decipher all the variations of width - each shoe manufacturer marks widths differently.

The Right Shoe Size Does Matter
Finding the Perfect Fit
Wearing the right size shoe does matter and the right fit for your big feet is important. If you are unsure of your shoe size use the link below to measure your foot. Size depends on shoe make and style, too so don't assume you always wear one size if the next size larger or smaller feels better.
- Measure both feet. Some people have one foot slightly larger than the other. For most people, the larger foot is the opposite from the hand they write with. Try on shoes starting with your larger foot. For example, if you're right handed, your left foot might be bigger.
- Choose the size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the socks you'll wear most often with your shoes. For thicker socks you may want to order shoes 1/2 size larger than you normally wear.
- Measure your big feet in the afternoon, when feet tend to be their largest.
- Stand up with your shoes on. Walk around a bit. You should be able to wiggle your toes in the front of the shoe. For most footwear, your toes will be able to touch the top of the shoe, but there should be 3/8" to 1/2" of space between your longest toe and the end of the shoe.
- Don't buy shoes that are too tight. If you're at the point where you're praying they will stretch to be comfortable, they probably won't. It's true that soft leather and suede give slightly, molding to your foot, but they will not dramatically increase in width or length. There's a difference between a "snug", comfortable fit and a "tight", uncomfortable fit. A few laps around a carpet should help you decide how you feel.
- If you require a wide width and no wide width sizes are available, try ordering a size larger in the regular width.
Test Drive your Shoes
When your shoes arrive, try them on with the socks you normally wear and give them a test walk indoors on a carpeted surface. Check to be sure your toes have room to wiggle a bit.
