A classic that can be worn all year round.

The Boston is a veritable classic that can easily be worn all year round. The Birkenstock men's Boston clog has a legendary status thanks to its sophisticated, individual design. The upper is made from extra thick, oiled nubuck leather with an open-selvage finish.

 Product Details

  • Upper: oiled nubuck leather
  • Footbed lining: suede
  • Sole: EVA
  • Details: one strap with an individually adjustable metal pin buckle
  • Birkenstock Boston shoe is made in Germany

Materials

Upper: Oiled leather

Oiled leather can be recognized by its untreated surface. BIRKENSTOCK purposely does not treat surface grains and other characteristic features. BIRKENSTOCK uses sturdy leather with a thickness of 2.8 to 3.2 millimeters as upper

Insole: Real Leather

The flexible leather lining of the Birkenstock men's Boston clog, which is gentle on the skin, nestles up softly against your foot and adjusts to its contour. The open-pored and thus very breathable surface makes for a comfortable foot climate, even during more strenuous physical activity.

Footbed material: Cork

Cork is a sustainable material extracted from the bark layer of the cork oak. This natural product is insulating and offers very good cushioning.

Outsole: EVA

EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) is a high-quality, very light, elastic material with extremely good cushioning. As a result, it smooths out slight irregularities in the floor and ensures that every step in these Birkenstock Boston shoes is softly cushioned.

Great shoe.

Birkenstock used to make the Boston in suede in mens size 15 and it was my favorite shoe. I had bought several pairs over the years. Now all they make in larger mens sizes are the oiled leather. I’m glad I at least found these. I wish Birkenstock was not so short sighted.

If you are unsure of your shoe size, measure your feet to find your size. Please also keep in mind that each shoe brand fits differently and therefore your size may be different by brand and even be different by style within the same brand. Please refer to the fit guide and reviews on products for additional information.

Please follow the directions below:

  1. Wearing a sock of medium thickness, stand on a piece of paper.
  2. Place a mark at the end of your heel and at the tip of your longest toe.
  3. Mark the sides of your foot at the widest part.
  4. Measure both feet and use the larger of the two
  5. To find your size, use these measurements and refer to the sizing chart below.
  6. If your measurements are between two sizes, or you find one foot's measurement is larger than the other, always move up to the larger size.
