What's New About the Vomero 17?Â
We simplified the build of the 17 by removing the forefoot Zoom Air unit and stacking premium ZoomX foam on top of the midsole to amplify the cushioned comfort. The result is a softer, more responsive ride.
Super High Cushioning:Â The more cushioning that you have underfoot, the softer and more comfortable your running experience can be. Cushioning helps soften impact as your feet hit the ground. Packed with our premium ZoomX and Cushlon foams, the Vomero 17 delivers comfort underfoot for a balanced, soft stride. Based on runner feedback, we also removed the forefoot Zoom Air unit in the previous version to simplify the midsole for a more plush feel.
Super High Responsiveness:Â The more responsive the shoe, the more energy return you can get back with each step. Whether you want to run a little bit faster or with a little less effort, responsive shoes help give you slightly more spring in your step to get more out of your run. In the Vomero 17, our maximum spring shoe, your foot sits on a stack of ZoomX, Nike Running's lightest and highest energy-returning foam, on the top and soft foam on the bottom for an energized, yet smooth ride.
Neutral Support: The more supportive the shoe, the more stability it can give to your natural stride. A combination of tuned support and intentionally placed cushioning helps you feel secure with every step. The Vomero 17 has neutral support. It gives you balance, whether you're a heel or forefoot striker. It's good for long and short runs, too, providing a smooth transition from heel to toe that helps complement your natural stride.
Fit and Feel: This shoe prides itself on premium comfort that puts you in cruise control for short-to-long miles. Engineered mesh makes for a lighter and more breathable upper compared to previous Vomeros. A plush insole offers comfort upon entry, and a soft collar feels gentle on your heel once it’s time to run. The padded tongue and soft, stretchy laces top off an ultra-comfortable overall experience.
High-abrasion rubber with lugs on the outsole gives you durable traction.
Flexible outsole helps improve your heel-to-toe transition.
Weight: 10.5 oz/300.2 g (Men's size 10)
Heel-to-toe drop: 10 mm

Fit & Care
We don’t recommend using a washing machine or dryer to clean your shoes. Washing machines expose shoes to complete submersion and excessive agitation. Machine dryers subject shoes to excessive heat. Both can affect material integrity, shoe construction, and performance. Instead please follow the care instructions provided in Nike's Cleaning Guide.

If you are unsure of your shoe size, measure your feet to find your size. Please also keep in mind that each men's shoe brand fits differently and therefore your size may be different by brand and even be different by style within the same brand. Please refer to the fit guide and reviews on products for additional information.
Please follow the directions below and take a look at the men's shoe size chart:
- Wearing a sock of medium thickness, stand on a piece of paper.
- Place a mark at the end of your heel and at the tip of your longest toe.
- Mark the sides of your foot at the widest part.
- Measure both feet and use the larger of the two
- To find your size, use these measurements and refer to the sizing chart below.
- If your measurements are between two sizes, or you find one foot's measurement is larger than the other, always move up to the larger size.
It is also helpful to know the width of your foot, widths are expressed in many ways for men's shoes. Below is a shoe width measurement chart that will help you decipher all the variations of width - each shoe manufacturer marks widths differently.

The Right Shoe Size Does Matter
Finding the Perfect Fit
Wearing the right size shoe does matter and the right fit for your big feet is important. If you are unsure of your shoe size use the link below to measure your foot. Size depends on shoe make and style, too so don't assume you always wear one size if the next size larger or smaller feels better.
- Measure both feet. Some people have one foot slightly larger than the other. For most people, the larger foot is the opposite from the hand they write with. Try on shoes starting with your larger foot. For example, if you're right handed, your left foot might be bigger.
- Choose the size that fits the larger of the two.
- Consider the socks you'll wear most often with your shoes. For thicker socks you may want to order shoes 1/2 size larger than you normally wear.
- Measure your big feet in the afternoon, when feet tend to be their largest.
- Stand up with your shoes on. Walk around a bit. You should be able to wiggle your toes in the front of the shoe. For most footwear, your toes will be able to touch the top of the shoe, but there should be 3/8" to 1/2" of space between your longest toe and the end of the shoe.
- Don't buy shoes that are too tight. If you're at the point where you're praying they will stretch to be comfortable, they probably won't. It's true that soft leather and suede give slightly, molding to your foot, but they will not dramatically increase in width or length. There's a difference between a "snug", comfortable fit and a "tight", uncomfortable fit. A few laps around a carpet should help you decide how you feel.
- If you require a wide width and no wide width sizes are available, try ordering a size larger in the regular width.
Test Drive your Shoes
When your shoes arrive, try them on with the socks you normally wear and give them a test walk indoors on a carpeted surface. Check to be sure your toes have room to wiggle a bit.
