The jury is still out

This shoe fits and feels different than any other shoe I've worn. It's snug, more so than even the B-width New Balance and D-width, Mizuno (Wave Inspire) and other Asics (Gel Kayano) models that have been my staple for the past 40 years or more.

The drop ratio, which seems to keep me leaning forward - a feeling I've yet to get under control. They're also a bit snug at the toe in my size (and there's no half size larger). But the flexible soft upper compensates for that and accommodates my toes adequately.

If you want a snug fit, this shoe should work for you. But if it's available to you, you'll want to go up half a size for optimal toe room.

If you are unsure of your shoe size, measure your feet to find your size. Please also keep in mind that each shoe brand fits differently and therefore your size may be different by brand and even be different by style within the same brand. Please refer to the fit guide and reviews on products for additional information.

Please follow the directions below:

  1. Wearing a sock of medium thickness, stand on a piece of paper.
  2. Place a mark at the end of your heel and at the tip of your longest toe.
  3. Mark the sides of your foot at the widest part.
  4. Measure both feet and use the larger of the two
  5. To find your size, use these measurements and refer to the sizing chart below.
  6. If your measurements are between two sizes, or you find one foot's measurement is larger than the other, always move up to the larger size.
