Tested under ASTM F 2913-11, which meets or exceeds a result of 0.7 for dry and wet conditions, and 0.5 for oily/wet and soapy conditions
 
The industry uses standards test like the ASTM F2913-11, Mark II to measure the effectiveness of footwear in wet, oily, dirty conditions or some combination thereof. This tests measures the amount of friction between a shoe material with the surface under it when pressure is applied.
 
ASTM F2913-11, Mark ll uses a scale of 0 (being not slip resistant) to 1 (being extremely slip resistant) to measure the coefficient of friction found by dividing the horizontal force by the vertical force.

  2. Place a mark at the end of your heel and at the tip of your longest toe.
  3. Mark the sides of your foot at the widest part.
  4. Measure both feet and use the larger of the two

  6. If your measurements are between two sizes, or you find one foot's measurement is larger than the other, always move up to the larger size.

International Shoe Size Notes

  1. Canadian shoe sizes are equivalent (identical) to American shoe sizes.
  2. Mexican shoe sizes plus 1? are the same as American Men's shoe sizes.
  3. British shoe sizes plus 1 are the same as American Men's shoe sizes.
  4. Japanese shoes sizes are American Men's shoes sizes plus 18. (Some companies say add 19.)
  5. Europe uses a system that came from the French called Paris Points. One Paris Point equals two-thirds of a centimeter. The system starts at zero centimeters and increases. There are no half sizes. American size 0 is the same as 15 Paris Points.
  6. Australia and New Zealand use the same shoe sizes as the United Kingdom.
